Description
IDI-SOLV is a mutual solvent with affinity for both aqueous and oleic phases, formulated to be used as a pre-flush stage in matrix stimulation and acid fracturing programs. It conditions the near-wellbore formation by removing mixed organic-inorganic damage, reducing surface tension between phases and improving the penetration and distribution of the subsequent acid system. Its application reduces the risk of emulsion damage generated by the stimulation acid itself.
Problem it solves
Daño de formación por presencia simultánea de depósitos orgánicos (parafinas, asfaltenos) e inorgánicos (carbonatos, sulfatos) que no pueden ser eliminados eficientemente con un solo tipo de tratamiento. También aplica como pre-flush en estimulaciones ácidas para desplazar el petróleo de los poros y mejorar la penetración del ácido.
Mechanism of Action
Actúa como agente de miscibilidad entre fases acuosa y oleica, permitiendo el desplazamiento del petróleo residual en los poros y la preparación de la roca para la reacción con el ácido de estimulación. Disuelve depósitos orgánicos y reduce la tensión interfacial en la zona de tratamiento.
